24bit editing help...
« on: February 21, 2005, 03:13:11 PM »
hey now
I used CD wave on my laptop to record from my UA5 at 24/48 just fine and I can track and listen to the file fine.

When I transfer tehm to my desktop and try and edit them in a Wavelab 5 it says "Unrecogizable File".
How can I get Wavelab to recognize these files?

Is there a trial version of Wavelab or another software that I can download and edit with?

any suggestions?

when saving traked out 24bit files in CD WaV editor i have found it necessary to check the "use alt. 24 Bilt File save" check mark on the save page. If I dont I have found the Flac frontend will not recognize the file. I have tried in Wavelab but might be the samething. You could open the file in CD WAV Editor and resave it see if that helps
