does anyone own one of these. I'm tempted to purchase one as the price is ideal for me

just another unit that doesn't meet the magical requirements for our purposes.  someone will accidentally get it right (again).

If you follow the links, there are several German reviews out there. Apparently, this has been on the shelves for several  months under different brands, before Alesis launched their re-badged version.
