Title: Setting up a router for Torrent Uploads?

So, I have used to same wireless router FOREVER, and I have finally needed to replace it. I set up the ports on my old router so long ago, I cant remember how to do it or how to set it. Whats the best and easiest config for hosting torrents. Right now my DL speed is great, but my UL speed is almost nonexistent. thanks!  :)
