Title: JB3 transfer to the computer, but I dont have CD's...
Post by: rdflash on February 03, 2006, 05:32:20 PM
Ok, I have tried searching and cannot figure this out on my own for the life of me...

Been to nomadness, dont know what exactly I need.

I am running 1.32.02 P

Have file manager d/l, the jb3 icon comes up with my name under file manager, but there are no files showing up, and I have 3 shows on the jb3.

everytime i connect the jb3, it says "new hardware found: NOMAD JUKEBOX 3"

says insert disc at this time if you have one, I dont, so it searches and then says click finish to complete set up, but nothing happens really, it says new hardware installed, but does this everytime I connect!?

please offer some help.

thanks in advance guys

this may or may not be helpful--but when i use my jb3 with a pc it says new hardware found everytime too
it also will not show the connected jb3 in some ports, no clue why--it sees its plugged in
at any rate i tried a different port and it worked--so it maybe your usb port--try a different one

it recognizes it in both USB ports.

I am using windows XP.

it gives me message each time it is installed "it has not passed Windows Logo Testing to verify its compatablity with Windows XP"

Just ignore that msg. Generally it's always safe to just keep going when that msg pops up during a driver install. Stupid Microsoft crap.

For my JB3 to work I need to install the drivers, AND Creative Media Source Organizer (both available via Creative's website).
