SBD recording on Laptop?
« on: October 17, 2005, 11:16:20 AM »
Hey everyone... I was just curious, is it possible to do a SBD recording straight into my laptop? This is just for future reference because I was reading Mieka Pauley's taping policy and it says that as long as the venue allows it, they will be ok with it... I am just curious if that is possible since right now that is the only way I can record anything. Thanks!

You might be able to go dual rca > 1/8" mini jack into your microphone port.  HOWEVER, this has the potential to sound like poo without some sort of A/D in between them.  Dunno, it's certainly worth a shot.
SBD or Oktava MK012s > Kind Kables XLR > Edirol UA-5 (BM2p+ mod) > Dell Latitude CPx via USB
