Topic: itunes shuffle issue?

lately whenever I set my itunes to shuffle, it will play 5-6 songs, and then stop.  The screen at the top that displays the track information goes back to the Apple logo (which means that the program is idle, basically).

I thought I had a particular artist/genre/album selected but it does it when I set my entire library to shuffle (well over 2,000 songs, all my hard drive can handle).

Actually it means it rebooted itself. The problem usually is related to the drive itself. I would format the drive again and see if that fixes the problem. If that doesn't fix the problem, then it's time to ship it off to Apple for repair (hopefully you bought AppleCare with it).
