EAC locks up

last night I was ripping CDs just fine...today I go to launch EAC and it freezes. I can't imagine anything has changed....but I can't even start the program to poke around for problems. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. I'm on xp-x64

ASAPI? Anyone have an issue like this before?

I think the EAC Yahoo support group has said something about x64 problems.  A post there would be wise.   ;)
