Title: my first attempt with HD

The HV-30 looks to take some crisp footage.  Can't wait to get some daylight festival stuff and some bands with good lighting on it.   ;D

This club was terrible lighting wise.  Just that static red/blue light thing.

And I don't download many (if any) dvds on like traders den.  If not a multicamera shoot what do people do during the tape flip on a dvd?  I have the audio and video synced so the video just drops out for like 20 seconds.  No music was missed.  thoughts?  photo montage of stills from the set?  Just black screen?

I put stills in a tape flip on single cams.  in vegas you can do screen caps so I grab one right before the flip so it's a smooth transition.  I do the same for when the footage starts back so it's smooth going back in as well.

oh yea looks nice  ;D
