SLA Battery Question.. How Much Is Too Muchh>>??
« on: July 12, 2004, 11:27:29 AM »
hey now quick question.. saw a great portable rig this weekend involving a power converter and sla battery to power a ua5 and jb3.. im starting to research and found a 12 volt 17mah battery .. my question is how much is too much .. is this way to much amperage for a jb 3 or..?? he was running a 7mah and is lasted him all day ,, so i figure 17 should do twice that .. but would it smoke these toys or..??

any info greatly appreciated

i guess the bigger they are the longer the charge ..

extra amperage will not damage the electropnics, but extra voltage can

You can get as much of a mha capacity as you want to lug around with you. I'd suggest you get two smaller ones, so you can run one while the other charges.

Also if you only need a shorter run, you have less to carry.
