Title: Mini XLR question
Post by: SxPxDxCx on January 20, 2009, 12:20:29 PM
So I need to find some longer mine XLR cables for my set up.  I looked at some the other day and they have 3 holes on the female end.  Mine have the 3 holes but they also have one in the center.  I'm thinking that the 4th hole is for power to my active mics.

Will I be able to find these someplace or will I need to get them custom built?

Any info would be appreciated.

i don't know of any reasonable cables w/ ta4f/ta4m connectors.  DIY is probably the best route.

maybe

I have a set of cables but they are only about 10-12 feet long.  I need to get a set made that is 20-25 feet long for a ceiling mount that I use.  Yes my DVC has 4pin connectors.
