Bad heads

Many DAT decks don't have hour counters.  How to tell if the heads are worn?  Once again, check out the Oade Bros website:

that's auctually drum wear. The two heads will get clogged with magnetic debris... Hence A-B Heads, while one is leaving the tape, the next is entering the tape.......
