Title: Im broke, and I had no way to mount my mics...so i came up with this!

Took an old CD-R i had, ground out the center so it would fit over the mount on the light stand...

taped that down nice and secure, and clipped my giant squids to the CD...

anyone have any idea how this is going to work out?  is the cd going to vibrate too much? 

any suggestions on how i can make it better?

im also throwing a little foam ring that comes wiht hte CDR spindle in there too...to help some of the shock, if there ends up being any

That'll work in a pinch... do they even make shockmounts for little mics like that anyways??
