flac issues (help!)

ok, so i've just downloaded the flac plug-in for winamp3. what else do i need to do to listen to flac files on my computer now? i have rebooted and still no luck. here is the link for the page i d/l it from: http://www.winamp.com/components3/d...ponentId=131644 shnamp was a breeze compared to this. please help. thanks.

Is the plug-in actually in the Winamp3 plugins folder? If I recall, you need to do something "special" to make a winamp2 plugin useable in winamp3.

Just went through this myself. Go to the PHISH website http://www.livephish.com/faq.asp#links and get the appropriate "FLAC front end" for whatever OS you are running. If you have the latest version of Winamp just drag your files over and start listening. If you want to burn the FLACS to CD you need to "Decode" them to WAV format first using the FLAC front end. If you need help let me know.
