Oh what's the difference between Model "S" and "LE" too?

I have a set of LEs.  As far as I know, it is a slight mod on the regular ADK A51s mics.  It is a matched pair (matched by B&K), has bass roll off and -10 db pad.

The A51s is their standard studio mic methinks...

The Hambrg and Vienna I think are variations of the A51s.  They feature slightly different electronics.

I have no idea of the actual technical differences...

I did see the the TL series is offered in a TL matched pair set...  Nice!

Look for JP Geraud, he's a ADK guru...

Yeah, I'm wondering how each mod effects the sound.

OK. Here goes...

The A51s is a switchable version of the A51. The A51sLE is a B&K matched pair of A51S.

The V and H have my upgraded circuits.

The V uses a classic edge-connected diaphragm (Austria), the H uses a classic center electrode (Germany).

The H has a built-in smooth HF attenuation that coupled with the capsule's mid range peak, gives a midrange-rich response without top end harshness. The V is more linear throughout with a smoother midrange but hotter high-mids and more defined top end. Low end responses are about the same, V being a notch more subtle.

V and H have 20 mV/Pa sensitivity and an 18 dBs pad for guitar amps and drumkit micing.
