Title: Tascam DR-05X vs "the others"
Post by: moondust.and.solitude on February 18, 2020, 03:46:38 PM
Is there a big difference in recorded sound quality between the Tascam DR-05X, and say the Sony A10 or Roland R-07, if I am using a battery box via line in?

I don't see mention of a phone app, like the other 2 have. Is there one?

No Sir. It's not BlueTooth (wish it was). I'm hoping that the record quality is up to par with the other two.

I think the DR05 (I have the first one) is a very underrated recorder. Going line in with a battery box, recording live bands, you'd be hard put to tell the difference with those others.

IMHO, of course.
