just got my first dvd burner today... and im a total n00b to this whole deal
ive got a bunch of mpeg's, avi's, and divx movies i want to burn to dvd...
the software that came with my burner seems to be total shit, but i expected that
do i need to convert my files to a certain type of file so i can burn the dvd's? what is the best program to use to do this?
i tryed using tmpgenc to encode them, but a small mpeg takes forever... are there any faster options out there if i have to encode them
i have nero6 ultra to burn the dvd-movies
any help is much appreciated
Thanks
Dustin

it's a real PITA process, but it works. Only problem is that 2 of those programs ar trial version only, so you have 30 days...
I think they could be found in non-trial form on suprnova
-
yes, suprnova is my friend
ive almost decided not to fuck with encoding this stuff
pain in my ass. especially with a older computer.... this process might get better here in a few weeks when i buy a big bad new computer....

yeah, pretty time consuming, and if an audio header is written wrong, for get about it
