Title: stripping extras/menu from dvd's?
Post by: caymanreview on October 20, 2004, 08:30:49 AM
so, say i want to make a backup copy of a dvd i own

i want to not have to compress the video to copy it.

how would i go about stripping the menu and extras from a dvd-rip to make it a size able to fit on a dvd with little or no compression?

i am using dvd-shrink at the moment, but would be willing to learn some new software if i could do this

thanks in advance ;)

yes it can, I believe you go to the reauthor tab and select the tracks you want

i figured it was that, so il have to view all the seperate tracks, and then choose what i want to not be in the disc..

im trying to get away with as little compression as possible for the movie

definantly works great with dvd-shrink

just go to re-author and just choose the main movie.... only compressed the last video i did to 85% instead of 55%!
