Has anyone used Busman BSC1's in the studio?
« on: October 10, 2008, 05:01:26 PM »
Hi, folks.  Been looking for a new set of SDCs and the Busman BSC1's caught my eye.  That they work well in the field seems beyond reproach; I've heard a lot of pulls that sound really good.  However, I'd also like to use the SDC's for double-duty in the recording studio (drum overheads, acoustic guitar, etc.).  Just wondering if anyone has used the Busmans in a studio environment and what their results were.  Thank you very much for any and all responses.

Touche.   ;D  LOL

In all seriousness, I sent an email to Chris about a week and a half ago to see if he had any feedback from clients or, even better, sound samples of the mics being used in a studio.  Haven't heard back so I'm guessing he's busy.  Figured I'd throw it against the wall here and see if anything sticks.  Thanks.

Chris's wife got a new job out of state and they are in the middle of a move.  He has had to stop doing mods and shut down the store during the move.  No exact date of when he will be back but it should be soon.

I don't envy them as moving is one of my least favorite things in the world to do.  Here's to wishing them a smooth transition.
Thanks for the info, china_rider, I'm certainly looking forward to Chris starting things up again when he's settled.
