Help with Wave file
« on: January 17, 2010, 06:22:14 PM »
while recording a show last night with my Sony SBM-1/NJB3  Sample rate originally  set to 44.1k
While checking levels after the first two songs..I noticed the sample rate on the NJB3 was showing 32k...the slider on the SBM-1 seemed to shift...so I shifted it back to 44.1K in between two songs and actually unplug and replug the optical cable  thinking it would change back to 44.1k..I saved the first set and hoped for the best...when I checked the wave file after the show on the NJB3 it shows the file as being 32k rate wave,,,the strange thing is the total files in
MB seems correct for the time of the recording based on 44.1...the problem is on play back..
after the first two songs the pitch changes and the vocals are slurred..like slow motion...

Can something like this be fixed by software ?  So far I have tried:

1. open wave file in cool edit pro and re sample whole wave file to 44.1k,,,but pitch problem
remains after about 14 min...till end of file..

 Thanks
