Help converting 48.kHz files to 44.1
« on: November 17, 2005, 07:15:27 PM »
I usually remember to convert the raw file from 48 to 44.1kHz, but I already have the show tracked out and was looking for some recomendations on how to convert the files all at once.

I have wavelab and am trying to figure out the batch process option...but I can't find the way to select the sample rate..
I could go file by file, but that takes for ever...
any other programs or way to use Wavelab

thanks.... I should really know how to do this by now :-\

On the output tab in wavelab's batch processor, click the output button. In there, there's a sample rate option.

This will introduce sector boundary errors at track splits.  You might want to re-combine all the files into a single wav (i used to use a windows gui called "addawav" to re-combine wav files -- google should find this program no problem), do the sample rate conversion on the re-combined file and the re-split using cd wav.

wavelab also joins wavs

open first file, then go to 'edit' 'at end' and bam, keep going and save file as a whole
