Wavelab cd burning advice needed
« on: December 13, 2006, 02:14:13 PM »
Before I start, I should probably make it clear that I *do* know that I should be using something a little less archaic than Wavelab 3 by now but it's all I've got for the moment, so any words of advice would be much appreciated...

Basically, the program won't recognize either of my cd burners. I've done the CD/DVD recorder update from Steinberg's site (unzip to the /wavelab directory, then double click the .reg file) but there's still nothing there in the 'device' box. Am I just missing something really simple?

If the program really isn't compatible with my drives, is there any way I can trick it into writing the CD image to the hard drive (which Nero could then burn to disk)? Or have all those hours spent tweaking crossfades in my montage been wasted?

TIA
