I just got a UA-5 to run behind my Nbox.... Basically just to run in front of my JB3. I'm planning on going line-in and thus bypassing the pre-amp stage. Does anyone have any thoughts (positive or negative) on the A/D when going line-in for the UA-5? Any one do a UA-5 (line-in) vs. D100 (line-in) comparison? I'm wondering if its worth running in front of a D100 :hmmm:
I'm going to test it my self, but I'd like to hear what others think too. Basically I'm bored at work :)

Post your recorded files (blind) so we can d/l, compare, and provide feedback! 8)

Would it be better to compare:
The same track/song
-Nbox > D100 vs Nbox > UA-5 (line-in) > JB3
or
Different tracks/Songs
-Nbox > D100 vs Nbox > UA-5 (line-in) > D100
? I assume the 1st option is fine.

Yup, option 1 is better. Tough part is getting the levels the same on both recording devices!

how many line outs does the nBox have?

Just one, RCA out. I'm planning on getting a 1/8 y-spliter
RCA > 1/8 > y-splitter > 1/8 > 1/8
> 1/8 > RCA
