Umphrey's McGee 7/3/01 (First SF Appearance)
« on: January 18, 2012, 02:28:26 PM »
I recorded the first Umphrey's show in San Francisco. I ran a my Rode NT2's on stage and fed them into a mixer with the sbd feed > sbm-1 > D8. It's three 1 hour sets plus a 20 minute soundcheck. I don't know their songs and wanted to know if someone can track it out and torrent it?

I didn't see it before, but I just found the show on etree, but it doesn't have the soundcheck.

Yeah, this was uploaded before mp3 creation was automatic. When I see those, I queue up a derive so folks can enjoy it in its full streamable glory. :)

Cameron Parker is a friend of mine and he patched out of me. I'm not sure if we need to do this or now, but I did a fresh transfer from the master dats and it has the missing soundcheck which may have music or may just be line checks. I dunno, haven't checked it yet, but probably has music.  I'll follow up with Adam.

edit: you want the soundcheck!!!

Awesome. David said you were like The Wolf in Pulp Fiction. Shows up just in time with tons of gear, does a pro job, and disappears into the night! :-)

FYI: The board feed was actually taken in 8 separate groups, then fed into a mixer with my stage mics and mixed down to 2 channels.
