I have rather a newbie question since I normally use CD Wave Editor to split/track my 16/44.1 files. I am looking for a simplified way to split a 24/96k file and resample/dither to 24/48 all in one step if possible. I already have all the markers placed and the saved. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. It seems all the YouTube tutorials are geared for Adobe Audition V3.
I'm assuming they haven't completely thrashed the work flow but it takes more than one step to track and resample... at least AFAIK.
Tracking is through placing markers in the marker list, merging those markers into tracks (a function in the marker list window), then batch processing there in the marker list to save those tracks.
Once you have the tracks then Batch Process from the main File menu selecting the track files and setting your choices along the way through those tabs (it will save whatever parameters you select there for the next time).
It's not the most intuitive layout but I like the processing (at least in v3).
of course they may have completely jacked the flow up by v6.
