Easy way or hard way?

Google has all the info in the world.  Type in your subject line and you'll get an answer.  It took all of 5 seconds to look up so I'll pass on the info.

Easy(ish) way, here's a step by step how to install a program to get itunes to play flac files

A slightly more time consuming way but easy enough, you can just convert to wav. (I use xACT) copy to itunes and add all the info to the files as you want.

Songbird

f. itunes

Cog: http://www.cogx.org

VLC, Songbird and iTunes are nice but very large. Overkill if you're just looking for simple playback rather than building a library. Cog is super small and lightweight.

I'll second Songbird.

If you like iTunes (and I do, not sure why others hate on it), you've got other options, including high bit rate AACs, Apple's proprietary ALAC, WAV, etc.

Also, check the Mac OS X Team thread...instructions on how to load FLAC for playback in QuickLook.
