the cynic in me is saying we will not ever see it in our lifetime as a off the shelf consumer item.
since it uses radioactive materials I can see how our establishment would be concerned about enough of them being made into a "dirty" bomb.  :-X
One of the other guys in me is saying effn sweet I can't wait to get one  ;D
I'm wondering if I just found out if I am schizo...

My 6v 4.5aH SLC batt died after 1 year of constant service
I bet we see a 30 year battery in our lifetime....why not?
