I got an F3 and now I realize how audacity handles 32float.
GREAT is how.
The default AMPLIFY plugin is able to take clipped-looking audio, and bring the peaks right down below -0 dBfs without any loss of shape.
I figure to bring it down a dB or two below clip, and send it to my limiter at 32 bit, and then take it down to 24 bits after I hit the limiter.
