I am wondering if you may be too concerned about getting your mount into the lyres. Those pieces are pretty resilient. The problem with the A53 mounts is getting the tension right so as to not slip, more of an issue with full bodied mics. Can you confirm that the center bar is 20mm/or just over 3/4"o.d. so it should go in and stay there till you take it out. Maybe I am missing something?
Edit, I was thinking of the INV 6 style mount when writing this, and see that you have the 7 with a longer clamp style spot for the bar

Custom designed microphone mounts for recording engineers and concert tapers. These mounts are printed on industrial 3D printers from strong and flexible nylon plastic. They are extremely lightweight, but are more than sturdy enough to support a pair of pencil-type condenser microphones.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, the mounts you see in this shop are designed to be used with a 20mm shock mount such as the Shure A53M, or a conventional 20mm microphone clip. Newer mounts are being designed to accommodate the Rycote INV-6 and INV-7 Lyre suspension
