A question for you mac heads out there
« on: April 14, 2003, 04:27:36 PM »
I've recently moved positions here at work. I'm fibnally doing Graphic Design again as my main job. ANyway, I have a older G4 that was here.  It's got 2 partitions one small one for OS 9 and a larger one for OS X. Most all of the software I need to use daily is Photoshop 7, Illustrator 7 and both work just fine in OS X. I still need to use Quark 5.0 and I guess it can't be run on OS X. SO that is why there is the small partition for OS 9. Now for some reason when I need to open a Quark file it starts classic mode, then just does nothing. It then pops a finder closed error.  It's got me stumped for sure.  It's a major pain in the ass. I need to get this working. I have a windows version to use, but sometimes fonts can be a pain.
