I feel that I have a good knowledge of electronics and can understand the schematics and what is supposed to happen and could pull it off, but lack the tools and or enviroment for such a task!

I found that if I wanted to do it, it would cost me a bit in supplies wire, soder, soder gun, etc........

I am gonna let the cat out of the bag here.      I searched the archive and printed out the diy dmod by nick(I believe) and took it down to my local electronics repair shop, gave him the edirol, and the printout, and left it up to him and his professional knowledge of the trade to do the job.

What a job he did, and w/the resources like shop, tools etc!!!!!!!

It was simple I  droped it off late in the day and got a call to pick it up the next morning. The guy was confused on what to charge for such a specific project, and the total came to.......       $15 bucks!!!!!!

It would have cost me more on supplies alone............

whetever you do keep posted w/ the results, and most of all enjoy..........

Also Muletaper I hope I did not come across as judgeing you or your ability to do the mod. In fact you are a better man then me by doing it yourself.

I just wanted to share my experience w/ the same situation you are about to face.

And here I was coming in to offer my best piece of advice:
