Topic: Apex 205 clip

I am trying to figure out how to mount an APEX 205 ribbon mic as the SIDE mic of an mid-side setup. My stereo bar is the Manfrotto. I want to do this properly, i.e. make sure that the two mics are vertically positioned, with one on top of the other.

I think that, to do this, I will have to remove the built-in mount of the Apex. But then again, I cannot find a mic clip that's thick enough for it. Any ideas?
