Title: I Need A New Home DAT. Best One For Transferring Lots of Masters?
Post by: ChicagoBlues on September 07, 2015, 08:44:24 PM
Hi,

I want to start transferring my DAT masters, but My DA-302 isn't working right.

What would be the best DAT deck to get for heavy use?

Panasonic SV-3800?  (Seems pretty good, better than the 3700)

Sony DTC-2000ES? (too expensive?)

What other decks should I be looking at? Looking for feedback and suggestions.

Thanks

Knock on wood, my Sony PCM-R500 is still going strong...

Always had good luck with my Fostex D-5, has a better rate of playing tapes back cleanly then my Panasonic SV-3800.
