Title: Shockmounts advice
Post by: John Kelly on June 20, 2003, 11:11:36 PM
Right now I'm using a pair of at933s with the SoundPro's gooseneck tbar.  I've liked everything so far, but I'm finding that I need a shockmount for when my stand gets bumped by the drunk wooks.  Is there any way for me to do this?  Obviously I can't use things like the at8410's as the mics are the size of a dime...

Thanks.

sound professionals sells the at8415 for this purpose...just run the gooseneck through the rubber bands on the center of the bar...helps to deflect some of the bumps.

similar...not nearly as sturdy as the DPA mount, but at half the price.
