You may not know about Mytek Digital but they make really excellent sounding ADCs and DACs in stereo and multitrack configurations. To use these devices in the field where AC is not available, one must use a pure sine wave inverter:

welcome aboard, analogue. I know at least one of our regular members here runs a Mytek ADC. Can't recall if he is using th 96 or the 192. Oh, and he powers it in the field off of DC if I am not mistaken. Care to chime in Scott?
Analogue, are you across the big pond from the US? Just curious, as analogue is chiefly a british spelling...

i have a stereo 192. it's the only dc powered unit. it ROCKS!
