Probably work okay if you can find good clips for them. Are you using pre-amp or PIP?

I'm prefer the AT831s. I have cards of these, I believe they are cards, that you may use if you're still in austin.

Get a high sensitivity CA-14 or ca-11 mic. The 831 will also work nicely.
