Ill put my 2 cents in for the M1290hc also I have my m1290 (c's) in my hands now that came to me today..mmmm nice little mics

by the way someone mentioned before but who's sell in the caps for these I wouldnt mind picking up a set of hc's

Frank at Cascade Media hooked me up when I needed to buy the caps.  Give him a call.

i have to admit, i run the audixes and i haven't been the happiest with them.  mostly cuz of their lacking lowend.  however, i was messing around the other day in post and discovered that if i boost the lowened just a little they sound unfugginbelievable.  i might be keeping them a bit longer than i expected.

Sacrilege! ;) ;D

I did nothing to my moe. recording and i think it sounds great, however, when i tape the local rock bands, the bass always seems to be lacking.  ever since i've been boosting the lowend tho, holy awesomeness!  i wonder if that'll be the case with any 40hz-20khz mic that i try.  anyone wanna loan me some schoeps or some mg's? ;D

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.
