I use an Audix APS-910 set that has been working fine, now one has lower output.
So I'm looking to repair, replace or upgrade...
I know there are bunch out there, so I'd like an opinion on which is the best to use.
some I know of :
AKG MPA VL
AT 8538, 8533
Audix APS-910
Nady XM-10
Naiant PFA
Sennheiser MZA900P
other options...?
what do you think ?

I've always used the AT 853XX or any of the others that come on the podium style mics. OH and then theres those belt packs right for the AT, I have one of those sitting in a drawer somewhere and another AT915 that could be hacked off. But that'd be my advice, find some cheap podium AT mics on ebay and hack em off, put on a pigtail ect. then sell the mics.
I've only used the AT varieties, but never had a problem with them.

It has been said that the Naiant is a few db hotter when compared to the AT8533

Some adapters are passive and some are active. The passive ones often drops the output from the microphones. AT vs. Naiant PFA for exemple.

Where does the AKG MPA VL fall ?
I'd like to get the highest output w/o attenuation.
