H2 durability
« on: July 13, 2008, 04:33:03 PM »
I've seen some negative comments in the past about the possible durability of the Zoom H2 because it has a plastic body. Well, I was running late to a show in my favorite juke joint last night and didn't have time to set up my DAW rig. I had thought I just wouldn't record but the music was so good I ran out and just grabbed the lowly H2 out of the car. There was no time for a stand or anything. I just turned it on and placed it on the bar. Well, a bit later it got knocked off the back of the bar, hit a bar stool on the way down  then smacked loudly on the concrete floor. There's not a scratch on it! I dare say the recording itself probably wasn't as lucky but it never stopped recording.
