Marantz PMD620 - USB power solution and question
« on: May 06, 2012, 08:38:06 PM »
Just thought I would let people know that the Marantz PMD620 can be powered with a modified DC > USB cable from any USB power supply :) I got that and the M-Audio Fast Track Pro runing form a 16000mah USB battery getting 22+ hours of record time in a test environment  ;D ;D

Question tho.. is there a way to not lose audio when the PMD620 reaches it's 2gb limit and starts a new file?

PMD620  no have problem 2Gb, he writes, writes and writes.
If the files should be less than 2GB, read the manual page 33 "auto track".
I usually write non-stop, in pause or applause I press record button and PMD620 start a new file. Then files can be glued to the audio editor, without any artifacts. No any loss.
