Title: Best Battery Charger for Sony L style (SD 7xx) batteries?
Post by: johnw on October 06, 2013, 12:18:51 PM
How are people charging there Sound Devices batteries these days?

Looks like Impact/Pearstone no longer makes the 30 minute charger.

John, I used to use a Lenmar dual charger that I LOVED. But after I sold it with some L batteries, I used my old 722 to charge them after that ;) does your 722/702/etc not charge them to 100% ???

I have an old Lenmar dual charger, but from what I remember it takes forever to charge batteries. Same with my 744. Works fine, just takes forever. The Impact/Pearstone was much faster and had built in protection which I don't think the Lenmar has.

As expensive as it is if I didn't have a charger today and needed to buy one this is what it would be.

FYI, Lenmar no longer produces the dual-well charger for L-series batteries... Mine pooped the bed about 2 years ago and I haven't found an equivalent that is equally-priced. YMMV.
