I have never hauled sandbags to a show. For outdoor festivals I bring a tent stake and use it to anchor my stand. The skinny aluminum kind. While you are at the camping store getting a few you can also grab a lightweight waterproof case like a dry box for boating way cheaper than a Pelican. Not handy for while you are running your gear but it will keep it safe if your tent floods or some other unexpected occasion. I often pack stuff in quart size freezer bags to head out to a festy. Take a couple with you to the show and if for some reason you can't use the stake you can fill them up with gravel and use them like sandbags. Dump them out when you are done. No hauling heavy bags.

Wimp.  lol
Something like this works just fine.  You can pre-fill or try to find something to put in it once you get to the venue (good luck).  I avoid ground stakes.  They create a potential hazard, plus you need to get them into the ground (and out each night) and configure a tie-down method.  Just throw a sandbag on the base and be done.
