When I taped a jazz trio at a bar/restaurant they played two full sets and then a little 25 min., two song mini-set. Nobody yelled/clapped for them to return for the third mini-set but people definitely were sticking around and you could tell they gladly accepted it. When I was creating the info file I was thinking to myself what that should be called....

I would guess it's still an encore..with it being a mini-set(25 min)...I am guessing also that the other two sets were around an hour each? That being so...Even if the crowd didn't respond like a typical crowd..it would still be the encore.

got to love the extended mini set type encores....Max Creek my fav band does them from time to time, come out to encore, end up playing another 30 minutes, always a treat, especially when Mike Gordon shows up during their extended encore Camp Creek 2002, jammin I know you Rider.
