Am I reading that the 360 runs on 35vdc?       :o              (Wallplug Adaptor, 8 … 35 V, 7 VA)
The 440 is 9-12vdc, more reasonable for what we do.

Why do I want to bet that these are analytical and transparent?

Do they say it "Lake People" or "LAH-keh Peppel"?     ;D
My Grand Father isn't around to ask any longer....

 :hmmm:   Exotic German Pre-amps...        ;D

Unless the "8" in "Wallplug Adaptor, 8 … 35 V, 7 VA" is some weird German smiley, I assume it means 8-35 volts (like my Sonosax preamp takes 12-24V DC).  (Not that I'd plug it in without asking first.)  Given the odd syntax of much of their English site, I'd opt for LAH-keh, too.

I have been toying with these for about 2 years and need to get rid of my Focusrite after it gets back from its second repair this year. Either one of these and then another or maybe just the F366D, which looks to be exactly the same.

Since this thread started has anyone actually tried one?

£427 delivered from Thomann. Lake People got back to me to confirm it is exactly the same as the F366. So I thought I'd go one step at a time and if it is as good as my Liquid 4 pre, buy another and use it with my Soundfield. Great to find supposedly clean pres with decent gain and step gain switches.

They remind me of MBHO, a small German company that doesn't do any marketing but does do well-built high-end stuff at a decent price.

I understand that Lake People also make the Schoeps dual preamp.
