Resetting the time/date on JB3?
« on: March 10, 2004, 01:37:29 PM »
My JB3 thinks it is 5/2001 from some reason and I couldnt figure out how to change this.  I d/l the .pdf file of the manual and couldnt find anything in that to tell me how to change it either.
Does anyone know how to change the time/date stamp for the JB3?
Oh, and I did a search here, but nothing was found.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

i noticed last night while doing some battey testing that my date skipped back a few months.  I don't remember ever setting the date though.

You can change it with the software that came with it. I don't have my laptop with me but i'll post back tonight how to do it. It may be in the play center?

Creative Mediasource was "supposed" to synch the time with the PC it was connected to.  NEVER DID.  This can be set in "Settings" if you're using the latest firmware.

mine was always two hours fast, play center would never fix it, don't know how it happens...but yeah, in the latest firmware you can change it yourself, nice feature.

Open Creative play center. Have the right side set to the JB3. Hit the >> symbol towards the top (same area that has up,  import ect.) & select settings.
