Replacement windscreen for AKG CK8 cap
« on: March 06, 2012, 01:31:49 PM »
I thought I read that the 568 windsceen is a suitable replacement. However the 568 diameter is slightly larger than the CK8. Any other options?

SG-2
a little long though and I ended up taking a razor knife and slicing off about 2''

I checked Windtech. SG1 too short and SG2 too long. How's the fit on the diameter? Does it fall off easily?

no, it fits fine... I thought it was a tiny bit tight on the ck68s I used to own though

You could always say screen a regular screen and buy a Rode "Dead Cat" or a Rode knockoff for around $35.00/Shipped. Im looking into them  so I can use them w/ my new Busman BSCS-L ;)
