Room Rearrangement
« on: March 01, 2017, 12:16:57 PM »
Last night I returned around midnight from my grandmother's funeral.  While away my wife "rearranged" the listening room to accommodate a new tiled table.  I asked her wtf she was thinking and she said she tilted everything "because it makes so much more room"  Note the position of the VR4jr's

Wow, good luck with that!

It looks like your wife wants the living room back. Can you take over a secondary room and make that your listening space.

It you think that is bad, well, it doesn't get any better. Wait until you have kids. Find and own your own space before it is too late!

Not sure how burning the triangle behind the diagonal tv "makes more space" so maybe you can use that as a selling point to split the screen with the speakers and push back to the wall? You can still angle the teevee I guess if that aims it better where the sofa now sits?

The tiled coffee table is something you like? It looks like it came from the Brady Bunch's yard sale!

I figured that you all would get a laugh out of this.  It only makes me sigh.

Ray, this new house we are in is only 900 square feet so there is no "extra space" anywhere.

I do have a small office but it is really only big enough for a stereo cabinet and my headphones.  I do like the tile table but its not the only large piece of furniture that she bought while I was gone.  There are two other dresser type things in the garage too.  That multi-colored desk to the right of the TV is something that she made me carry all the way back from Montana for our daughter so I may be able to re-claim some space since we don't ever use it.

HD600's were what I discovered by paying attention around here...

Happy here too.

Gave up on the living room along time ago. I now have my "OTG" listening room/home office. A nice amount of space that was really just storage, but converted nicely into a comfortable room. Window at one end and a door at the other. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. OTG is over the garage.
