Tallentcell lithium ion rechargeable is one of the go to external batteries these days. Available in various sizes, built in meter, charges via 12VDC. The ones I use feature 3 outputs: 12V port, 9V port, 5V USB.
Run the FP24 from the 9 or 12V port. I think H4n requires 5V, so USB for that.

Nice rig!
I have the 9.5 ft Impact and it has been solid. No issues running eight channels on it. This one has a big footprint though.

The standard Manfrotto 1004. More expensive, but footprint is about 10 inches less.

You could also throw a pole on top of your current stand for more height.

all of you folks seem to forget the FP24 has a threaded COAXIAL power connector
NOT a HIROSE... you will most likely have to have a cable made for powering

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ yup.
we had Ted make one for us

I am back stateside for a little while, who is Ted and does he still make these power connectors?
Please and Thank you!
