New Receiver and Home Theater System Speakers
« on: December 27, 2004, 11:30:28 PM »
Finally got the new HD TV a couple of weeks ago and now I'm set to pick up the remainder of the audio components.   I'm ready to get this audio/video system looking and sounding nice.  To help put this together I'll show you the link to the TV I bought and list out the audio componts I've been reviewing and looking at:

TV:
Mitsubishi WD-52525:  http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/televisions/details.asp?id=38

Receivers: http://www.usa.denon.com/catalog/products.asp?l=1&c=2
Denon 1905
Denon 2105
Denon 2805

Speakers:
Klipsch RF-15 Home Theater System:
http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=860

Polk Audio: http://www.polkaudio.com/home/

T90EB: http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1870386&cp=1124387&parentPage=family

CSI3: http://www.polkaudio.com/home/products.php?category=5&speaker=353

PSW10: http://www.polkaudio.com/home/products.php?category=7&speaker=377

RTI4: http://www.polkaudio.com/home/products.php?category=4&speaker=351

Any thoughts input on the components I've been looking at are welcome.  Any feedback on additional or optional equipment I should consider are also welcome.  I'm hoping to pick everything up by 12/31.

Thanks,
Todd

I'm loving this tv....the only time you'll have a glare problem is if you are sitting  in the room with a bright light source in front of the tv or  a window with the sun coming through.  This tv is awesome!

yeah i was debating the 525, but i have a window that would shine light on it, so then i debated the 725, but too expensive.  so i went with the panasonic 50 incher.

i thought both the panasonic and mitsubishi had the best dlp picture...both better than the samsungs...glad you're liking yours!

No idea. I think I'll be making a drive through sometime before spring. I'll let you know for sure once I have plans. If you're out of town this time, tell your roomies to let me in. ;)
