I just put together a set of cables for soundboard recordings myself. I used this thread as my starting point.

I decided to go the route of using standard female xlr to male xlr cables and adaptors. I usually take a couple sets of xlr cables with me, so this way I can use any of my sets (dependent upon what lengths I need) along with the adaptors to accept any board connections. Additionally, if I decide not to connect to the board, I can use my xlr cables together to extend my cable runs if needed. This way I'm not carrying a sbd specific set of cables all the time that I may or may not use, and the adaptors are small enough that they don't take up much room in my gear bag.
[2 each] XLR-female / RCA-female adapters
[2 each] 1/4" mono male / RCA-female adapters
[2 each] XLR-female / XLR-male adapters
[1 each] 1/8" stereo mini to 2 each xlr male interconnect (I don't think I'll need these, but have them just in case)
I picked everything up at Westlake Electronics and Markertek, fwiw. If you have a Fry's Electronics in town, they may have them as well.
