I just bought a pair of Beta 181's for my live sound rig. I'm sure they would sound fantastic for live 2 track recordings. I'd love to hear a recording if anyone has one.

Bump.  Anyone here ever use this relatively small, inexpensive fig-8?

I'm curious about it as M/S Side channel microphone.

Thanks.  Low sensitivity, ridiculously high max SPL, relatively high self-noise.

Seems well suited as a drum/close-instrument mic, but maybe not so much for us.  Unfortunate as there are not a lot of options this pattern/size/price category, which is why this one caught my attention.
